Energy saving and environmental issues concern us all, whether it's your house you're keeping warm or a conservatory you are trying to keep cool.
Our range of energy efficient uPVC windows (rated under the Window Energy Rated scheme) can help make your home warmer and reduce your heating bills.
The Window Energy Rated scheme is controlled by an independent body, the BFRC. Under the scheme, windows are energy rated using a letter from A to G, where A is the best. At Eliments, we offer two types of A rated windows which use special low-emissions glass units to allow more heat into your home and less heat out.
These green windows not only save you money, but also help eliminate draughts and make your home cosier in the cold winter months.
Sunlight is allowed in through the special glass of our A rated windows, making your home warmer whilst the sun is out. Meanwhile, this special glass also reflects the heat generated inside back into the room.
For the home, the glass units are constructed using high-tech insulating materials around the edge. These materials stop heat being lost by conduction and also give superior noise insulation. This makes the unit warmer to the touch than older double-glazing, which uses aluminum around the edge, and helps to reduces cold spots and condensation appearing on the inside of the glass.
Similar technology is used in our conservatories and orangeries, helping to make the conservatory/orangery cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Thus creating a comfortable living space that can be used all year round.
