Do I need a lot of space for a conservatory? If you have always dreamed of owning a conservatory but feel like the space you have available is too small, don’t despair. What is the difference between a conservatory and an orangery? Conservatories are glass rooms, with a brick base and (most often) a pitched glazed roof. An Orangery in comparison are brick rooms with large windows.
How much is a conservatory? As you can imagine, it really depends on the type you build, with different shapes, sizes and materials varying the price. On average, a conservatory can cost anywhere between £8,000 to £30,000.
Is planning permission needed for a conservatory? In most cases planning permission isn’t needed for a conservatory, but you will have to check with us once a design has been agreed.
